The core of the structure is built from recyclable containers clade with fibre cement board on the outside and gypsum board in the interior.

Assembling a typical two-bedroom house takes a duration of about 50 working hours.

Habitat for Poor

ModPro has developed a program for slums, Slum Eradication Project (SEP).

This is to rapidly deploy affordable, sustainable and robust housing units across Africa’s most impoverished villages, towns and cities.

Any natural disaster presents an extreme interference with the lives of the affected population, who first of all need humanitarian, medical and other kinds of aid. These people look for ways to return to a normal life again. In such situations, ModPro offers an immediate solution.

School buildings in high-risk areas must meet strict criteria in terms of static stability and resilience, fire protection, but also hygiene and acoustic standards.

Each client can build a house according to their current needs and extend the house on an ongoing basis. The housing units are custom made to suit the budgetary plan of the client.
